| Notes: | Deeks Health Foods is a totally gluten free and grain free bakery, producing healthy and delicious quality baked goods. Organic ingredients are used where possible, and the products contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, as well as being grain lectin free and fructose friendly. Most of the baked varieties are low GI, low carbohydrate, and high protein. Manufactured in a dedicated gluten free and grain free environment at the Pearce site, quality ingredients are used, with some seeds milled daily onsite to optimise freshness. The range of baked goods is numerous, also including dried pasta. Bread varieties comprise Quinoa Loaf, Baguettes, Chocolate Log, Pumpkin and Pepita Seed, Sundried Tomato and Basil, Herb and Olive, Fruit Log, Pizza bases, Wraps and bread rolls. As a sweet treat choose from the following cake range – Carrot, Fruit, Tiramisu, Banana, or Chocolate Mud. There are also pistachio, almond or hazelnut biscuits, as well as friands. Slice selections include Wafer, Ricotta Slice, Chocolate Brownie, and Caramel Slice. Deeks Health Foods at Pearce is an enjoyable place to eat, offering sit-down meals as well as over-the-counter sales. There are cooked breakfasts, including blueberry pancakes with maple syrup, toast (regular and fruit), Smokey bacon and egg burger, and chocolate logs. For lunch or a snack choose from gourmet pies (beef, potato or curry chicken), pizzas, soups and gourmet sandwiches. Sweet selections include cakes, cheesecakes, chocolate éclairs, friands, biscuits, sweet and savoury muffins, etc. The cafe sells ethically sourced coffee, tea varieties, fruit juices and soft drinks that do not contain sugars derived from grains.
