Notes:	Originating in Turkey, Rye was extensively used during the Roman Empire to make rye bread. Our Organic Rye Flour has a distinctive flavour and is still milled the old fashioned way, using whole grains of rye in the stoneground process. It is naturally lower in gluten than wheat, producing close textured breads with a pleasing continental flavour. This pack contains five separate 1kg packs and is ideal for busy cooks and chefs wanting to keep flour in stock for baking. Please note: All of our flours are unbleached. The addition of bleaching agents is not permitted in the UK.
